Breast Revision Case #01

This 58-year-old woman had saline implants placed in 2005. Now 18 years later, she would like to exchange them for silicone gel and go a little larger. Over the years and with aging her breast tissue thinned out and one can see some wrinkling on the lower portion of her right breast. We discussed her choices of silicone cohesivity and decided on gummy bear implants (highly cohesive), which should have fewer or no visible wrinkles. At surgery, I replace her 300 cc saline implants with 415cc high profile gummy bears. She is thrilled with the result. The post-op photo was taken at 6 weeks.”
