This 57 year old woman was troubled by loose skin on her upper abdomen and by the way it draped over a scar from a surgery she had as an infant (vertical scar right of the midline). I performed a reverse abdominoplasty. Rather than pull the loose skin downward with a more commonly used incision above the pubic area on the lower abdomen, the skin was lifted and removed in incisions hidden under her breast folds. The after photo was taken at 10 months. This is an ideal procedure for someone who does not have loose skin below the navel and might already have incisions under their breasts that can be re-utilized.
